Tuesday Alberta Pride Artist Danielle Lowe!
Edmonton country music singer/songwriter, Danielle Lowe, is one of the most active young performers in the province of Alberta and has been a strong community contributor, donating her time and her voice to numerous non- profit organizations. Over the past several years, Danielle has shared her talent at hundreds of events for dozens of local, national and international charities.
In addition, Danielle’s big voice and dynamic stage presence have been featured at a number of high-profile events in Edmonton, including the Canadian Finals Rodeo, Oilers Hockey, Oil Kings, Edmonton Indy, the Premiere’s dinner, Lois Hole Harvest Celebration and the list goes on. Danielle’s talent and hard work has translated into unparalleled competition success. She is the only singer in Edmonton’s history to win all three major vocal competitions as a junior in the same year: Futures Fest, Country Vocal Spotlight and Northern Star. In November of 2008 Danielle also became the youngest singer in history to be crowned the Grand Winning Act of Northlands’ Country Vocal Spotlight (youth/adult divisions overall). She also competed in Tennessee’s esteemed North American Country Music Associations, International competition in 2009 where she won awards for top Female Artist, Vocalist and Songwriter of the Year. Danielle earned nominations in both 2011 and 2012 from the Alberta Country Music Association for Female Artist of the Year and from the Edmonton Music Awards, both for Female Artist of the Year and Country Music Album of the year and she was ecstatic to take home the award for the 2012 Country Music Album of the Year. This year, Danielle has been nominated for 3 Edmonton Music Awards.
