From Mannville, Alberta.

Krysta was deep into music from the very beginning, she was working on guitar and piano skills by age 5, started songwriting at 13 and performing for large crowds shortly thereafter.

Krysta headed to the University of Alberta majoring in music education but she could not stay away from the stage. This led to opening slots for Trace Adkins, Emerson Drive, Tricia Yearwood, Paul Brandt, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Jason McCoy, Johnny Reid, George Canyon, and many more.

She has built an impressive list of achievements, performing all over the world; Showcasing for the Canadian Country Music Association; performing at the Big Valley Jamboree, Calgary Stampede and Tootsies Lounge in Nashville, Tennessee and travelling to Israel and Egypt to perform for our Canadian Military and United Nation troops.

Krysta’s debut album ‘It’s Up To Me’ tipped off radio programmers that she had arrived as a recording artist.  The album received standout reviews with the singles “Run, Run, Run” and “Climbing Up Mt. Everest” receiving significant airplay. Her second album, ‘Shine’ was released in 2013.

Krysta also helps others shine by volunteering her time to her favourite charity, the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Check out her Website and her Facebook Page.
