Family has always been the cornerstone and driving force behind Jayme Knyx’s music. His number one support system over the years has been his parents. Jayme Knyx fell in love with country music at an early age. But sparking the dream was country legend George Strait. When Knyx was only six years old his mother gave him his first guitar. His family has had a heavy influence on his music. From his Grandpa Bob, who was the lead vocalist for the Country Playboys, to his mother, who sang for many years as well.
Jayme has been invited to perform on stage with some of today’s biggest and hottest stars…The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, “Canadian Idol” Jaydee Bixby, Aaron Pritchett, Chad Brownlee, Doc Walker, Jo Hikk, and Sweet Tequila to name few. Jayme says, a career highlight was performing with the 2010 Vancouver Olympic torch relay.
Jayme has many projects on the go at all times. Currently, Jayme is working on a song and video for a tequila company based in Mexico with his business partner and Nashville veteran hit songwriter Gary Loyd.
Jayme has spearheaded the city of Hope’s Canada Day Festival four consecutive years. He also keeps busy with his media company promoting hundreds of businesses along with charity and youth groups.
