Canadian Coast To Coast is presented by The Eagle River Casino and Travel Plaza in Whitecourt.

My Special Guest is Warren Eric.

“Warren Eric” Hounsell is a Native Metis/Cree Canadian Singer/Songwriter. Born in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, Warren was adopted and raised by his grandparents on their family farm just outside the Village of Green Lake, Saskatchewan.

At a young age Warren was introduced to music by his family and influenced by artists like Elvis Presley, CCR and Willie Nelson. This artist has come a long way from those early years of singing and performing for his family. Warren entered the music scene in the mid 2000’s with a rock cover band from his hometown. He later joined the group “Everlong” until the band disbanded in 2013 due to personal reasons and family obligations. Warren’s previous experiences as a front man in the Saskatchewan music scene make him a versatile performer and strong vocalist who’s no stranger to the stage.

Warren has now transitioned into the Saskatchewan Country Music industry ready to make a name for himself as a well-rounded crossover artist. His newly released 4 track EP ‘Chronicles Of My Life’ is soulful, melodic, heart wrenching and bluesy. One of the tracks on this debut EP is a personal one, is solely dedicated in memory of his grandfather who lost his battle with cancer.

Warren Eric 1pm MT on XM105fm.
