Canadian Coast To Coast is presented by The Eagle River Casino and Travel Plaza in Whitecourt.
My Special Guest is Brad Sims.
Inspired by musical influences including Marty Stuart, George Strait, Mark Chesnutt, Dwight Yoakum, George Jones, and Canadian country trailblazers, Terri Clark, George Canyon, Dean Brody and Bobby Wills to name a few, also ignite Brad, whose songwriting process begins with creating the melody, followed by the lyrics. His first single, “She’d Look Good on Me” is in rotation at Canadian country radio, supported by a visually compelling video and available through iTunes.
Having performed on rodeo stages including the Fairview Amateur Rodeo, corporate events such as the Encana Stampede Barbecue and festivals such as the Grande Prairie Stompede, Brad is never too busy to host charitable events for his local Metis Association to assist an elder’s shelter for the homeless, as well as a youth program to feed and educate children. His generous heart was celebrated in Brad receiving his ceremonial sash from the Metis Association of Alberta (Local 1990, December 2015.) Brad’s childhood dream of taking center stage has indeed come true. His performances at Bud Country Fever Music Festival – where it all began — has also been realized.
Today Brad tells us about his new single “Day By Day”, working with Matty McKay, and lots more.
